The centerpiece of this one of one cigarette band, a 1.25 carat bezel set round brilliant diamond accented by baguette diamonds. It was salvaged from an old 18K gold ring that had sat untouched in a safe for years. Rather than letting the stones remain dormant, they were reworked into something entirely new.

After creating a cigarette band for a client, I kept coming back to the form. This version expands on the idea, incorporating garnets, rubies, and yellow diamonds that feel collected over time rather than perfectly matched.

I've always been drawn to jewelry that carries a history. Pieces that evolve rather than begin from scratch. The cigarette band lends itself to that philosophy, becoming a framework for preserving stones, memories, and materials that deserve a second life.
